Two great African Adventures back to back!

In July 2026 we have a special itinerary that reads like a highlights package of previous tour. First we have a five-day mini tour of  Capetown and the famous winelands region. This is an optional extra for people who want to join us for the main event!

Join us for an 11-day tour featuring two of Africa’s most iconic experiences. In Zimbabwe, we explore Victoria Falls and the Zambezi river, with a detour into Botswana to photograph Chobe National Park. Then we head to South Africa and a private reserve on iconic Kruger National Park – an absolute must-see for any lover of photography and African wildlife.

 

Tour Highlights – Capetown Mini Tour

* Arrival at Capetown, airport transfer * Dinner at V&A Waterfront Entertainment Precinct * Table Mountain summit by cable car * Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens * Cape Of Good Hope nature reserve * Boulders Beach Penguins * Winelands tour with visits to two famous wineries * Transfer to Johannesburg for start of the Victoria Falls / Kruger tour.

Tour Highlights – Victoria Falls and Kruger

*Flight Johannesburg to Victoria Falls * 3 nights accommodation at Victoria Falls * Zambezi River sunset cruise * Morning and/or afternoon waterfall walk (you may want to do it twice!) * optional ‘Flight of Angels’ helicopter flight over the falls * Local market shopping * Cross border into Botswana to visit Chobe National Park * Chobe River Cruise * Chobe game drive * Flight to Johannesburg, overnight at Africa Sky hotel * Flight to Hoedspruit, transfer to Manyaleti / Kruger National Park * 5 nights accommodation at Mantobeni private lodge with spa and poolside dining * Morning and afternoon game drives * Vehicles can go off-road for even closer wildlife encounters * Return flight to Johannesburg and end of tour.

Your Hosts

PIERRE DUVAL is the owner of multi-award-winning Guiding The Wild (formerly Bushbaby Safaris), specialising in creating unforgettable African adventures for small group tours. Pierre loves to share the wonders of the African continent with his international guests and is both a naturalist and historian. Most importantly (for nature photographers) he is an expert wildlife spotter who will help you capture photo opportunities you would never experience otherwise. In recent years Pierre has spread his wings beyond Africa to explore even more exotic wildlife experiences.

ANDREW GOODALL is a renowned Australian nature photographer and teacher. He has hosted photography tours all over Australia and overseas. As a skilled and encouraging teacher, he is not only a great companion to have on tour – he can also help to ensure the photos you bring home are as unforgettable as the experience itself.

The Great Migration tour in 2019 was the first time Andrew and Pierre worked together; from that adventure a great friendship was born.
