Our 12-day tour is focused on the Pantanal region and our main quarry is the beautiful Jaguar. But there is so much more to see, with plenty of wildlife and bird species to photograph along with one of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls.

Tour Highlights
* Transfer from Cuiaba airport * Welcome dinner * Transpantaneira Park Road drive to Piuval Lodge (two night stay with morning and afternoon game drives) * Drive to Porto Jofre region and Hotel Pantanal Norte (four night stay) * Daily riverboat safaris on the Cuiaba River in search of Jaguars and other wildlife * Drive to Cuiaba and Grand Odara Hotel * Airport transfer and flight to Iguazu Falls * Macuco Safari featuring forest drive/walk and speedboat ride to the base of Iguaza Falls * border crossing into Argentina * Forest walk and eco-friendly train ride to views of Iquacu Falls * Airport Transfer for flights home * End of tour
Wildlife
We are visiting wild animals in their natural habitat, so every game drive, walk and riverboat safari will be different and no particular sighting is guaranteed. Our main goal is to photograph the elusive Jaguar. Other species we are likely to see include: Caiman * Giant Anteater * Capybara * Giant Otter * Anaconda * Ocelot * Marsh Deer * Toucans, Macaws and hundreds of other bird species.
Your Hosts
PIERRE DUVAL is the owner of multi-award-winning Guiding The Wild (formerly Bushbaby Safaris), specialising in creating unforgettable African adventures for small group tours. Pierre loves to share the wonders of the African continent with his international guests and is both a naturalist and historian. Most importantly (for nature photographers) he is an expert wildlife spotter who will help you capture photo opportunities you would never experience otherwise. In recent years Pierre has spread his wings beyond Africa to explore even more exotic wildlife experiences.
ANDREW GOODALL is a renowned Australian nature photographer and teacher. He has hosted photography tours all over Australia and overseas. As a skilled and encouraging teacher, he is not only a great companion to have on tour – he can also help to ensure the photos you bring home are as unforgettable as the experience itself.
The Great Migration tour in 2019 was the first time Andrew and Pierre worked together; from that adventure a great friendship was born.
