The Bribie Island Butterfly House Photography Workshop with Andrew Goodall is an amazing half-day class spent among some of the most colourful subjects you will ever see! This is a very hands-on workshop where you practice your close-up skills on living, moving subjects. We begin with a quick theory session (notes provided to take home) and then we head into the butterfly house for an afternoon of non-stop shooting, with Andrew looking over your shoulder to give advice where needed. The Bribie Island Butterfly House is such a peaceful and calming experience with plenty of space for us spread out and practice our skills.
This is an intermediate workshop, so it is assumed you already know the basics (aperture, ISO, shutter speed etc.). Note that this workshop is about close-up photography. A macro lens, or a telephoto lens that can focus reasonably close (less than a metre) to the subject will give the best results.
Your workshop fee of $85.00 does not include your entry to the Bribe Island Butterfly House. This decision was made because some people may have already purchased annual passes or be able to advantage of seniors’ concessions etc.
